Macdonalds!!! :) Haha, I had loads of fun, don't even know where to begin man. Rushed over to Macs right after choir pract with Chlo yesterday and by the time I reached, Rach, Nick, Tris, Joel, David and Tim Chek were there already. The rest arrived slightly later and we played this realll big trick on Bert. Hahha. Kinda bought him this grossly decorated CNY zodiac shirt from Giordano and wrapped it up in tons of newspaper and plastic bags. After repeated rippings of the newspapers and plastic bags, he finally lifted up his 'present' only to have the anticipatory smile on his face fall by notches. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought he was gonna cry cos his eyes looked kinda watery. Mann. But credit goes to him for valiantly proclaiming it was 'Nice' and saying he liked it even though his facial expressions seemed to be dying by the minute. Haha. Especially when we made him wear it. Gosh! That part was damn funny. Cos the shirt was too small and tight for him, and he ended up looking damn gay, but it was all in the name of good fun, so yeah. :) We led him to believe that that shirt was all we'd gotten for him so throughout the earlier part of the party he was looking kind of dissatisfied with the present, but when the games started, the nightmarish tight-tee seemed to be forgotten. We played musical chairs, and it was bloody funny! Haha, can't describe the mad rush for the chairs when the music stopped. Bear in mind that we were all in a room with glass panels as walls, so the entire KAP population could see our every action. Also, not forgetting that since it WAS afterall a kiddie party, the chairs were a million times too small for us and the music being played was the kind of teeny-bopper songs (in other words, by Aqua and N'Sync, etc.) Hahah. Trying to squeeze your butt into a damnned small yellow chair to the sound of 'I'm a Barbie Girl' with people watching from the outside can be either plain horrifying or just plain funny. The latter won out of course. There was a period of time when we all actually grabbed a chair each and carried em around in a half-squat position so that we could sit on em as fast as we could. We were just moving around in circles with chairs glued to our butts. Hahha.

As usual, those who didn't manage to get seated by the end of the song had to do forfeits. First up were Ellai and Stacey. Haha, they were both unseated cos of Chungkat who pushed em both off at the last moment. They had to walk out of the room, into the eating area of Macdonald's, and make a public apology to everyone for making such a big fuss because it was Ellai's birthday. It was damn funny cos everyone just stared at them like they were lunatics. Especially this group of NJ students seated directly outside the party room. Haha. Next was my turn, arghh cos I ended up sitting on someone instead of the chair. They made me carry this humongous packet of CAT food, which Ellai and Joel bought for me (?!), out into the public eating area, wave it around and announce that I was a cat. ARGH. All because they think that I make funny cat-like sounds. I ended up turning red, squeaking the words out and running back into the room the moment I said my bit. It sounds easy, but wait till you try it for yourself mann. Carrying cat food around and telling a room full of adults and teenagers enjoying their dinner at Macs that you're a cat is just embarrassing. Bert was after me, haha, we made him kiss the glass panelled wall such that the everyone on the other side had the 'pleasure' of seeing him french the glass. It was hilarious cos his tongue and lips were all over the glass mann, and everything was just smushed up, lol. Ang had to go up to this couple that kept making out and pda-ing, and ask if she could join them. HAHA. Poor girl. She actually went up to them and asked but they said 'No' straightaway and returned to making out. What the hell man, haha. Don't ask me why, but she asked them again, and again, and got turned down repeatedly with a series of 'NO's from them. Totally embarrassed herself cos the couple ignored her most of the time hahha.

What followed was the moment of revelation for Bert when he had to leave, cos we finally unveiled his real present and gave it to him. The expression on his face was priceless, haha. He really believed we were gonna leave him with that size S giordano shirt as a birthday present. Aww. After that, I had what constituted to a period of mass pe in my eyes, cos the guys took my wallet away and started throwing it around. Gahh. I ended up running around for almost half an hour just trying to get my wallet back from all of em. The constant jackings about Angga didn't help much either. Ahhh, too embarrassing already. They refused to return it to me and tried trapping the both of us inside the party room alone so that he could 'help' me find it. Arghhh. I finally got it back when he lifted up my bag and it was underneath it all along. Sigh. Then we all packed up and left the place cos our time was up. Wanted to go out some more cos I was still hungry but they all supposedly couldn't make it, and kept asking Angga to cab me back. Whaaat the, I was really, really damn embarrassed at that point man. It was how obvious, the way they were trying to pair themselves up so that I'd have no one else to go home with but him, ack. After ages of trying to convince me to go back with him, I just hopped into the cab that Ellai flagged down, with Ang and Stacey. So Tris was left to accompany him. Haha. They dropped me off at orch and by the time my parents picked me up from there, I was already half-dead, cos of the long day I'd had. Bleh. Oh yeah, thanks for all the presents and birthday wishes everyone! Really appreciate it :) Haha. You guys rock.

Ah, time passes too fast. I'll be 18 in 2 days time. 18. Damn, I never expected it to be this soon. I've mixed feelings about it, more or less because I'm not really in the mood for celebrations these days. Don't know why. I'd prolly have forgotten about it, if not for all the planning and all taking place cos of the party. Sigh. There're only a few things in the world that I'd want right now, and none of them seem to be coming my way anytime soon. So I guess I'll leave it at that for the moment, and hope that my mood lifts in time for whatever it is I need to be happy for. Have a great Hari Raya out there to those that celebrate it then.

FAE
You are blessed with FAERY wings. Beauty,
laughter, life, magic...that's what you are all
about. You are refreshingly innocent and happy
with your life of purity and play. Life's a
game and it's a good one. In your eyes there's
no way to lose! You can be very mischeivous and
have been known to cause trouble, but it's all
in the name of fun and not meant to really harm
anyone. You like to play tricks on people who
aren't quite as bright or clever as you - which
is almost everyone. Nature is the setting you
prefer to be in - Always. Barefoot and wild you
can't be tamed. You're probably a restless
spirit who loves to travel, and quite a
dreamer. Your creativity is astounding and your
art (of whatever media - from writing to
painting to drama) is like something from
another world - ethereal and often very
fantasy-oriented. You can either be a social
butterfly or a loner with their head in the
clouds - but rarely inbetween. You stubbornly
refuse to accept responsibility or to give in
to the wishes of others - unless you feel like
it. You have a strong passion for music and
can't imagine life without it. You'll grow up
someday, but you'll always be a child at heart.
You are adventurous and love to take risks, and
feel a deep connection with the weather,
plants, and animals. You prefer sunshine to
thunder or snow, the warmth of summer to
autumn's chill, and quiet forests to suburban
backyards. Magic through and through, you are
far more powerful than you seem, and are
capable of being extremely passionate. Though
you can be childish, naive, stubborn, and self-
absorbed, one thing is certain - life with you
will never be boring!
